Love the food here. It makes it so easy when you are on campus to not have to search for good food because it's right here on the basement.

I only got the mozzarella sticks, but I felt compelled to drop these guys 5 stars. They are so nice! They take your name for your order and address you as "Ms." or "Mr." I bring my lunch to school most days, but when I don't I'll definitely spend my money here.

Visiting Louisville for the first time. Found this deli and started walking, not realizing it was in the basement of a community college. Luckily there were signs on the outside to tell me where to go. As I got inside the building I was thinking I made a bad mistake but went for it anyway.
WOW did I find a gem. Super nice staff, great sandwich reminds of the old school delis I used to go to. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. I had smoked turkey on toasted sourdough. Turkey is fresh sliced and the bread was great. They have lots of toppings and condiments. Thanks for a great experience. -

In the bowels of a soulless JCTC administrative building lives a beautiful country ham sandwich. About five bucks. Yeah, they have other stuff on the menu, but I've yet to bother to try them.
This is the same Morris' Deli that's on Taylorsville Road, the one Mitch McConnell apparently likes to visit. (And here I thought ole Mitch's favorite meal was whatever the Koch brothers let him eat.)
The no-frills atmosphere will appeal to fans of DMV waiting rooms and old airport terminals. If classes are in session, you might have a wait at the register. -

I had a great soup and sandwich today. When I walked up to the place, I had my doubts. It doesn't look like much ... a basic deli with a grill. But when I got back to my office to eat the ham & cheese on pumpernickel and vegetable beef soup, I was blown away. Both were excellent. I was expecting a watery soup, like from a can, with few bits of meat. But the vegetable beef soup was hearty with a thick broth and a satisfying ratio of beef to vegetables to broth. The ham and cheese was very well made. Delicious. I will certainly be back to try some other sandwiches and their burgers.
